Yes, that?s right 6am? Sunday? here?s why?

I was an early bird last Sunday. When my alarm rang at 6am on Sunday I was exactly excited. Why you ask? It was to attend The Sunday Reset Project.?This event goes down the first Sunday of every month, in downtown Las Vegas to bring the community together to get health, reset and have FUN! It can be fun to wake up that early, I promise.

The Sunday Reset Project is the signature event of?The Reset Project. This?is a volunteer group of local Las Vegas health and wellness leaders dedicated to creating a healthier community by resetting the mind, body and spirit. The core team is made up with?James Wong ?Fitness Guy?, Lauralie Ezra?? The Connector?,?Richard Belsky ?Mediation Guy?,?Joyce Sportsman ?Yogini?,?Jennifer Sanchez ??Veggie Girl?,?Alexia Vernon ?Mistress of Moxie?, and myself Kelly Bennett ?The Vegan Consultant?.?We saw a need for a more connect community centered around a strong mind, body and soul lifestyle. Our mission is to bring events, programs and tools to the public to make that happen. I have to say this is a power team on a mission. I?m not a gambler but I?m betting on this!

Last Sunday?was our second event and the energy was great. The event always starts with movement.?Shaun Swanson?lead our urban hike and?Rachel Lipman lead the run.?Don Mcnamee?did partner acro yoga. That was the photo above. Very cool. Tamara Kinoshita?lead the yoga and stretch which was a perfect blend. Nothing like partner yoga with a stranger doing spread eagles. It was like we were kids again and that youthful spirit put smiles on everyone?s faces. Here is a video to show you too.

Yoga was followed by a relaxing yet stimulating meditation lead by?Joyce Sportsman?and?Richard Belsky. Meditation is by far the favorite by most guests. I think we all appreciate a moment to come together in peace, quite and?relaxation. It was lovely.

Meditation was followed by a VEGAN food feast. Woo hoo! I may have had a hand of putting this part together but I have to say others in the group who aren?t even vegan wanted vegan food. That for me was the best part. It?s just another way Las Vegas is becoming more open to conscious and compassionate eating. Love it!

Chef Donald?Lemperle was our guest chef and he really went above and beyond.?He has been working as a chef for over 30 years working in some of the most exciting restaurants in New York City, Scottsdale and Las Vegas. Donald has a deep passion for vegan food after?becoming vegan because of health reasons and he has never felt better. His goal is to serve his community food that is healthy for their mind, body and soul and with the Sunday Reset project he is doing just that. Everyone loved the food and was buzzing off of the energy that comes from eating vegan.

Now, does this all sounds awesome to you? Are you going to be in Las Vegas on August 5th? ?Want to get?healthy in a fun way with a community of supporters? Want a good hang out cure from Saturday night? We have you covered.
