ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (March 19, 2013) ? All 12 Atlantic City casino resorts are coming together for a springtime event to celebrate the famed Atlantic City Boardwalk on Saturday, May 4th and Sunday, May 5th. Developed by the Atlantic City Alliance, the Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade is a massive outdoor wine festival featuring 150 wines presented at seven destinations along the Boardwalk. It is more than a wine tasting as each destination along the stroll will be themed with the history, pageantry and energy of Atlantic City. Music, food and insider access to great wines inspired by the spirit of the Boardwalk ? plus breathtaking ocean views ? come together to create this unique experience.
Guests will sample a broad spectrum of wines from fabulous quality value wines to highly prized special wines. Signature bites from AC restaurants including Boardwalk fare and gourmet bites will be paired with the wines.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 22 at 11:30 am. Tickets can be purchased at the Boardwalk Hall Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, at www.doatlanticcity.com/wine or by calling 800-736-1420. One-day tickets are $75 in advance and $85 on the day of the event.
The Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade is hosted by award-winning wine expert, author and TV personality Leslie Sbrocco. Known for her guest appearances on NBC?s Today Show and as the host of the PBS series Check Please!, Leslie has been awarded the James Beard Award, three Taste Awards and three Emmy awards for her work. She has designed the wine immersion experience for the Do AC Boardwalk Wine Promenade and will be appearing at various locations throughout the event.
