Day 1 at SIFE World Cup; Is bankruptcy a good ... - Faith and Finance

Aroba (That?s Hello in Swaziland) Sounds like ALoha, right? Well, I?m at SIFE?s 10th World Cup in Anaheim, CA courtesy of Chartis Credit Counseling Forum. Considering that I?m the only kid from Hawaii, I?m preety stoked! Being treated so well, and meeting so many people?all from 40 different countries. I?m just disappointed that MMSU couldn?t represent the Philippines this year? Regardless, FREE BEER haha *inside joke To my team members and the world watching out there, I just want you to see what SIFE really means. It?s not just a club, it?s LIFE, reaching out to those in need, and sharing what you learn from school, from your own experiences, and teaching them ?how to fish? That?s all. Time to call it a night. Can?t wait for tomorrow?s competition! ^^

Try the credit counseling first. I filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy years ago ? it IS a big deal and devastating to your life. It doesn?t JUST ruin your credit ? ruins your ability to get employment in some places, ruins your ability to get into decent housing?. I don?t even think Chapter 7 is available anymore (wipes out all of your debt ? poof). I think now the court requires Chapter 13 where you work out a way to make payments to the creditors. Good luck to you.
